A Hymn prayed at the conclusion of prayer during Great Lent in the presence of the bishop. Amen. Alleluia.  Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.   Both now and ever and to the ages of all ages.  Amen. We proclaim and say, O our Lord Jesus Christ, who fasted for us forty days and forty nights to save us from our sins.     Save us and have mercy on us. You were granted Moses' grace, the priesthood of Melchizedek, the old age of Jacob, the long life of Methuselah, the excellent understanding of David, the wisdom of Solomon, and the Spirit of Comfort who descended upon the apostles. May the Lord keep the life of our honored Patriarch Abba Shenouda, and our honored Bishop Abba Serapion.   May God confirm them on their thrones for many years and peaceful times, and subdue their enemies quickly under their feet. Ask Christ on our behalf to forgive our sins, in peace, according to His great mercy. Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord bless us.  Amen.   I offer my repentance, bless me, forgive me and say the blessing.
