Ya-koll al-sefoof al-sama-eyeen : rattelu le Ellahona be naghamat al-tasbeeh : we ebtaheegu ma-'ana alyawma fareheen : be keyamat al-Sayed al-Masieh.

Al-yawma kad kamulat al-nebowat : wa kad tammat akwal al-aba-e al-awaleen : be keyamat al-Rabu men bayna al-amwat : wa howa bad-'o al-mota-ge-'ean.

Kad kama al-Rabu methlu al-na'eem : wa kal-thamily men al-khamra : wa wahabna al-na-'eam al-da-em : wa a 'a-takna men al-'obodeya al-morra.

Wa saba al-gaheem sabyan : wa hattam abwabhu al-nuhas : wa kasarra matareesahu al-hadeed kasrran : wa abdala lana al-'ekoba bel khalas.

Wa a-'ada Adam ella al-ferdoos : befarah wa bah-ga wa massarra : howa wa baneeh alazeena kanu fee al-heboos : mahal al-na'eem dof'a okhrra.

Al-yawmma entasharat a'alamu al-khalas : wa tagadaddat al-agsam wal arwah : wa faza al-mo'emeenoon bel-saf'h 'an al-kassas : wa magadu Allah bel-tasabeeh wal-afrah.

Al-yawmma ebtahagat ebnat Dawood : wa tahallalat kooloob al-rossol al-abrrar : heenamma basharathom al-nesswa betammah al-maw'ood : wa ma sama'oo men al-mallaeka al-at-har.


Anna Yasou'e al-Massieh kad kamma : laysa howa hahona kamma taroon : fazahabat al-nusswa wa basharrat talameezahu al-keerram : be keyamet khalek al barraya agma'een.


Wa zahara le talameezahu wa abhaga-hom : be baha'a nazarahu motagaleyan : be magd lahutahu wa afrahahom : lamma shahado-ho hayan.

Nosabehahu wa nozeed refe'atahu : wa na'atarrif bemagd keyamatahu : wa nashkorahu 'ala 'azeem ne'matahu : le anna ella al-abad rahmatahu.

Come all you heavenly hosts, with joyful praises, sing to our Lord : rejoice and be glad with us today: for the resurrection of our Lord Christ.

Today the sayings of the former fathers have been completed, and the prophecies have been fulfilled : by the resurrection of the Lord from the dead and He is the first of the resurrected.

The Lord awoke like one from sleep, and as a drunk from wine : and granted us the eternal delight and redeemed us from bitter slavery.

He captured hell and destroyed its copper doors : and broke its metal bulwarks : and changed our punishment : into salvation.

He returned Adam to Paradise : in happiness and joy : he and his children who were in prison : to the place of joy once more.

Today the flags of salvation are spread : bodies and souls are renovated : and the believers won forgiveness of punishment : and they glorify the Lord with praises.


Today the daughter of David became rejoiced : and the hearts of the righteous disciples were full of joy : when the women announced to them the completion of the promises : and what they heard from the pure angels.


"Jesus Christ has risen He is not here as you see" : so the women went and announced the good news : to His honoured disciples : about the resurrection of the creator of the whole creation.

He appeared to His disciples and gave them joy : with His glorious image : while appearing in the glory of His divinity : and pleased them, when they saw Him alive.

We praise Him and increase His exaltation : and declare the glory of His resurrection : and thank Him for His grace : for His mercy is forever.
